My Mission
I love to 'make stuff'. WHY? Because I want to change the world. A very bold statement, I know!
I am originally from India and I have seen people on the streets, without access to clean water, permanent or any shelter, and without food. Every time, we would drive by the intersection on the road, I would see dozens of these people, and think to myself, WHY? why isn't anything being done? why this and why that. But like a lot of other people, I never thought I could do anything, as I am only a child.
At the same time I had a passion for making things. I would always open up the remote controlled car after my birthday, play with it for about 10 minutes and open it up. I always loved to do things that involved technology. Skip forward few years, and someone introduced me to arduino, and that changed my life. because I went from "what can I do"," to what will I do", as I realised that my biggest strength was my age, and more importantly, my passion. And since then, I have been working and developing my skills. Be it, with the apprenticeship at one maker group or maker faire Singapore, I love to bring smiles to peoples faces.
At this point you are probably thinking, wow this guy REALLY does know how to exaggerate things, to which I say: WAIT AND WATCH! because to me, the meaning of life isn't to make a lot of money or live in a mansion, it is to help other people live a better life. I believe in doing things myself, rather than sitting at home, opening BBC and reading about the water crisis.
