The automatic plant watering system is a system which allows plants to be watered automatically from a vat of water when the moisture level of the soil in the plant gets low. A sensor detects the soil moisture level, and a threshold can be set, which, once crossed tells the pump to pump water into the plant until optimum moisture level has been reached.
This technology is a proof of concept for what can be used in farms, and other agro-tech industries, where soil conditions (not only water) can be monitored to allow for a higher yield in the farm, by making growing conditions more consistent.
